Dr. Shashika Hewavitharana joins as an ambassador

Shashika faced many hardships when she was studying for university entrance in Sri Lanka. She had to travel many miles in a bus to get to school in extremely hazardous conditions and never did she let those experiences affect her desire to become who she always wanted to be. Shashika won a scholarship to pursue her doctorate education at the University of Washington and today she is an Assistant Professor at the California Polytechnic State University.
