Dr. Sahida Hettiarachchi joins as an Ambassador

Married at the age of 17, and had 3 children before she turned 22 years where she could not finish her own university education. Despite all of this, Sahida persevered and went on to become a successful entrepreneur. In 2017, she was awarded the Most Inspirational Woman in Business award and successfully earned an honorary doctorate in recognition for her service to the many thousands of people she had assisted throughout her career.

She always did everything to ensure that her children changed their lives through education and provided the necessary financial support that she never had when she started on her own life journey. In addition to doing her own business, Dr. Sahida sits on the Board of Directors of All Ceylon Human Rights Federation and is an advisor to Sri Lanka’s Ministry of Finance.
