Casino royal game day raised $5,000
Change the Cycle, Inc. (CTC) hosted its second fundraiser in November 2021 with a casino style game day at the founder’s residence in Calabasas, California. The event raised a total of $2500 with individual donations, tickets, and auctions. The total amount raised was matched 1:1 by a single donor who had her own story to share about her humble beginnings when her father was given a helping hand by his community when he was young and changed her cycle for her and her children forever.
With the $5,000 raised, CTC supported the pilot program with four girls to continue their education and our hope is that they remain motivated to educate themselves to obtain successful careers in their interest areas that will give them financial security. CTC also donated 200 high-quality school bags to school girls in rural Sri Lanka.
